How does Jay-Z celebrate the Samsung fueled platinum release of his hit album Magna Carta Holy Grail? He heads to New York City’s Pace Gallery where he performs in a six-hour lip-sync, dance-off, performance-art show that features the song Picasso Baby played on repeat.
Various artists, collaborators, friends, and other people packed the art gallery to take part in a docu-music video for Picasso Baby.
Among those believed to be in attendance are Judd Apatow, Marina Abramovic, Adam Driver, rapper Wale and more.
Jay-Z was reportedly trying to keep the entire night quite but photos and videos made their way out of the event and showed up on Instagram and Vine.
As expected the famed rappers impromptu performance has gone viral for both platforms.
