So about that partnership with Red Robin, Foodbeast.
Our plucky pals over at the food news network Foodbeast are already responsible for viral videos including How to Eat a Cupcake Like a Gentleman, How to Eat a Tic Tac and Chinese Food Like a Boss, and proved a tad overzealous when restaurant chain Red Robin reached out to them with an ambiguous proposition.
They way Foodbeasters put it to me, the team “naively and vainly misunderstood a sponsorship opportunity between our blog Foodbeast and Red Robin as interest in creating video content to help promote a new item.”
Laboring under the impression that Red Robin had propositioned Foodbeast to create and engineer their new Beer Can cocktails (when in reality, they just sent them some gift cards), the boys took to the planning board to put together an incredibly elaborate video demonstrating their mixology know-how.
Last I heard, they’re still waiting for Red Robin to return their calls. But you can enjoy the hilarious video below, courtesy of Foodbeast:
