Social media is widely used throughout the world. From Facebook and Twitter to YouTube and Instagram, many internet and mobile users use some form of social media every day.

In the country of Ireland, the top social media networks are Facebook (52%), YouTube (35%), and Twitter (23%) followed by LinkedIn (20%), Google+ (15%), and Instagram (9%).

The largest group of social media users in Ireland are people between the ages of 25 and 34. Only 3% of Irish social media users are older than 65 years old.
