Facebook Code Snippet Reveals Possible Music Service Called “Vibes”

Facebook Vibes Code Snippet

When preparing to use Facebook video calling users must install a small bit of Skype code to run the program and now it appears that the code is pointing to an upcoming music service called “Vibes.”

While Facebook has not confirmed the addition of a music service, they have been in talks with European music streaming service Spotify and other services that they hope to woo in an effort to gain a footprint in the music streaming business.

A music service launch by the social network is expected by the summer and will likely integrate with Facebook in a non-obtrusive way just as Facebook video calling has done this week.

What features would you like to see from Vibes?
