Director James Mangold knows people are anxious to see some footage from his upcoming superhero flick The Wolverine. To keep the masses happy until a proper trailer finally finds its way online, the filmmaker posted a quick six-second teaser on Twitter.
In short, the so-called “tweazer” is essentially just a bunch of random images edited together. Look closely and you might see a familiar face or two.
The six-second teaser for The Wolverine is just the tip of the cinematic iceberg. Mangold promises a 20-second teaser trailer tomorrow. The trailer is expected to arrive on Wednesday.

Based on the celebrated comic book arc, this epic action-adventure takes Wolverine, the most iconic character of the X-Men universe, to modern day Japan. Out of his depth in an unknown world, he will face a host of unexpected and deadly opponents in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. The Wolverine opens in theaters across the US on July 26.
