Most people won’t get to see director Guillermo del Toro’s Pacific Rim until the movie hits theaters later this year. However, a group of very fortunate individuals managed to catch a test screening of the science fiction flick monsters ahead of its debut.
Judging from the reaction on Twitter, del Toro’s big-budget monster movie could be a huge hit for the suits at Warner Bros. The studio is so convinced the flick will make a mint at the box office that del Toro has been given the green light to begin work on a sequel.
Pacific Rim tells the story of humanity’s struggle against a handful of giant monsters hellbent on laying waste to anything and everything in their path. In order to contend with this menace, mankind develops enormous robots that are remotely powered by humans.
Although your opinion of the flick could be very different than what these people think, it would seem moviegoers are in for a serious treat later this summer.
#PACIFICRIM is the most satisifying summer movie IN DECADES. It delivers EVERYTHING…and I mean EVERYTHING you could possibly want to see.

Btw, Pacific Rim was pretty awesome. It was also awesome cause it was free. And it was an early screening.

I have seen #PACIFICRIM. Thats all I can say except for my convo after: Me: “God, I’ve missed you.” Guillermo del Toro: “I’ve missed myself”

@eruditechick seriously, big screen cinema drug. You are physically dizzy and exhausted from excitement when it’s all over.
