Do you watch the Netflix original series House of Cards? If not, shame on you (it’s really good), but if so, brace yourself for the show’s religious-themed spin-off, House of Cardinals.
The parody video trailer for House of Cardinals is set amid the surprise resignation of Pope Benedict XVI, at which point a cunning Kevin Spacey-esque cardinal plots his sex, drugs, bribery, and extortion-filled plot to assume the throne of highest religious authority.
The viral video comes to us courtesy of Jon Deutsch and Ross Cohen, who wrote and directed the clip.
It’s a pretty slick video, and is inching closer to 100,000 views on YouTube as of this writing.
