Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg has joined social sharing website Pinterest, the hottest social sharing platform of 2012.

Found at pinterest.com/zuck the profile shows that Zuck is following approximately 100 other users but he has posted very little content on his own account although he’s apparently a fan of the movies Bridesmaids and Moneyball.

Not surprisingly the Pinterest account is linked to Zuckerberg’s Facebook profile.

What we do know is that Facebook loves to find new ways to better their own products and then acquire or copy those services. For example the “subscribe” button came about after Twitter launched the “Twitter Follow” option.

With more than 2 million members and 10 million unique monthly views per month and more than 100 major brands connecting on Pinterest it will be interesting to see how Zuckerberg and his social networking team integrate the service or a similar service into Facebook profile pages.
