Digg Reader has been relatively under the radar since launching in June, and the company has just launched a Chrome extension to accompany its RSS reader.
The extension offers basic functionality, but does allow users to subscribe to any site, and add it to any of their categories in a few clicks.
Users can also see how many stories are unread, and quickly open Digg Reader in a new tab.
The Android app has also been updated today, and features a new setting “to only show unread items, and feeds and folders with unread items.”
As per usual, the update also includes various bug fixes, and speed has been said to be improved.
You can download the Digg Reader extension from the Chrome Web Store, and the Android app update has already started rolling out.
