Groupon Subscribers Reach 115 Million [Report]

Social savings site Groupon is now serving a user base of 115 million subscribers according to a recent report. If that number is confirmed it would mean that the site is now double it’s size from the previous year.

Reuters cites an unnamed source who says the Groupon user base has grown by 38% since March 31 and 127% since the end of 2010 when it had 50.58 million users.

The “leak” could have come from Groupon themselves who in June filed an IPO that would add $750 million to their pocketbooks, while AllThingsD reports that they have now amended their offering and will file again with the SEC on Monday.

Groupon is not commenting on subscriber numbers at this time.
