NASA Twitter Competition: Win A Chance To Pilot The Space Shuttle Simulator

The Space Shuttle simulator is a very exclusive piece of technology that is normally only used to train top astronauts and now NASA is opening that simulator up to 30 lucky Twitter followers.

NASA will pick the winners who will participate in a full-day tweetup on July 19, coinciding with Atlantis’ final mission to the International Space Station.

Winners will get to test their ascent, rendezvous and landing skills in the simulator while meeting with top NASA scientists, they will also receive a behind-the-scenes tour that will show them Mission Control Center and astronauts’ training facilities.

Tweetup registration is open from today at 11 AM until 11 AM Wednesday June, 29.

Winners will be chosen at random.
